The three books in this series are excellent. I have never been disappointed in Jack Cavanaugh's writings. I would highly recommend the series for anyone interested in historical fiction.

This is Book 2 in Jack Cavanaugh's series "Songs in the Night." After finishing my read of Book I, I could hardly wait to see what would occur in Book 2.
Great series and I usually do not enjoy historical fiction but this was very engaging!
This was an amazing middle book in a great trilogy! I highly recommend this series. It is very intense and suspenseful for being Christian Fiction! They have become one of my favorite series! I couldn't put it down! Read all 3!
The story helped me to visualize what my father-in-law, German American, saw and witnessed during the WW2. The author's descriptions about the evil of the Russian forces I had heard from Dad. Dad told me about the chocolate candy and treats they liked to give to the people, especially the children.
